Out of abundance of caution and the recommendation of the Martin, Tyrell, Washington Health Department, all students and staff who could have been in close contact with this individual will be in quarantine for a designated period of time. Monday Feb. 15 is a regular school day. This is a make up day from our previous snow day.

Good evening -- As students are set to return to back to school on Monday, Feb. 8 - please be mindful that we are still practicing the three W's (wear a mask, wash your hands, and wait (social distancing). Also, please be sure that you are filling out attestation forms daily for your child before boarding school buses or exiting vehicles. A new set of masks and attestation forms will be sent home with your child on Monday. Don't forget to show your school spirit by wearing your Rodgers School spirit shirt. Good evening - This is Angela Cross at Rodgers Elementary. Our students will be returning for face to face instruction beginning on Monday, Feb.8. Please show your school spirit by wearing your Rodgers spirit shirts. If you do not have a Rodgers spirit shirt, you can wear a blue t-shirt to show your Rodgers Elementary School spirit.

Martin County Board of Education has decided that students can return to face to face instruction beginning Monday, Feb. 8. We are excited to see our students!

Due to 2 hour delay for teachers-- Google Live sessions that are scheduled before 10:00 will be adjusted. Please be sure to check your child's Google classroom for updates. We hope you enjoyed your snow day.

Based on weather predictions, there will be no school tomorrow, January 28th. Take this day to enjoy the snow. There will be no virtual instruction tomorrow and no meals will be delivered.

Martin County Schools Board of Education will meet on Monday, Feb. 1 @ 6:30 to make a decision in regards to our return to school date or to extend virtual learning. The Martin County Board of Education voted last night to extend virtual leanring for another 2 weeks (through Feb. 5). Please continue to attend your LIVE sessions and communicate with your teacher daily. We miss you and hope to see you soon. These symptoms include fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, new cough, new loss of taste or smell, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. If your child falls into any of the categories mentioned above, please do not send your child to school until the nurse or someone at Rodgers follows up with you to determine your child's return to school date.
