RES will be raising money from March 8-26 to help support the American Heart Association. This event will be all virtual this year. All donations must be submitted online with the links you will be provided in the coming days. ONLINE ONLY for donations. No cash needs to be brought to school. The links and event information will be provided via our school's Facebook page, a flyer sent home, and each student will get a google classroom message from Mr. Swift next week. The directions, procedures, and all the prizes for the students will be on the provided link to the American Heart Association website for our school.
It was another great at RES. Congrats to Ethan Askew & Paisley Greenhaw - they have won our trivia contests. Also, don't forget to check out our virtual bookfair going on now through March 14.

It's Cat in the Hat Day at RES! We will be celebrating Read Across America Week all week with exciting and fun activities. We will also kick off our virtual book fair that will run March 1 - 14.

Out of abundance of caution and the recommendation of the Martin, Tyrell, Washington Health Department, all students and staff who could have been in close contact with this individual will be in quarantine for a designated period of time. Monday Feb. 15 is a regular school day. This is a make up day from our previous snow day.
Good evening -- As students are set to return to back to school on Monday, Feb. 8 - please be mindful that we are still practicing the three W's (wear a mask, wash your hands, and wait (social distancing). Also, please be sure that you are filling out attestation forms daily for your child before boarding school buses or exiting vehicles. A new set of masks and attestation forms will be sent home with your child on Monday. Don't forget to show your school spirit by wearing your Rodgers School spirit shirt. If you do not have a Rodges school shirt, you may wear a blue shirt. We appreciate your continued support of Rodgers Elementary - Learning Today --> Leading Tomorrow!

Martin County Board of Education has decided that students can return to face to face instruction beginning Monday, Feb. 8. We are excited to see our students!
