Martin County School's newest LETRS cohort completed their 8th and final LETRS professional development training on Friday after an extensive 2-year study on explicit and systematic literacy practices.
We thank these teachers for their dedication to growing and learning while teaching their students daily. Thank you to Ellen Mizell, NC DPI Early Literacy Specialist for facilitating these sessions and pouring knowledge into our educators daily.

These great educators are having the time of their lives at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, learning about new strategies to engage learners, the House System, and building a sense of community in the school. We can't wait for them to return to hear about their experiences!

Ms. Jessy and Ms. Gammon represented JES today at the North Carolina Technology Conference in Raleigh. They presented a "Tech Parade of Engagement" to educators and leaders across the State! Teacher leaders at their best!
Another trip to the game room was won during our last Wheel Spin Friday! River got to choose 5 of his friends to join him for a good time playing games at the JES Arcade!

Thank you to everyone who made this competition a success! Together, we collected 169 pounds of pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald house.
