We are having our Principal's List and Honor roll awards ceremony on Friday February 17th in the cafeteria. 5th graders will be honored from 1-1:30. 4th graders from 1:30- 2, and 3rd graders from 2-2:30. Please make sure you are wearing a mask. Please do not bring more than 2 people to this ceremony. Parents will have the option of taking their students home afterwards. 5th Grade: All guests need to have their tickets to enter the gym today for the DARE graduation. Parents can start showing up at 12:45pm. The show will start a little after 1:00pm. Parents can sign their children out afterwards! Thanks!

Greetings Tiger Family, This is your Principal Jason Myers with an important announcement from E.J Hayes. 50 4th graders will be taking a national exam tomorrow. This exam will be beneficial in collecting data to improve testing in schools. Parents whose children are participating received a letter last month. Also, 5th graders DARE Graduates will have a ceremony honoring them on Friday starting just after 1:00pm. Parents are invited to come directly into the gym starting at 12:45pm. Students brought home an envelope and letter today with 2 tickets inside. Only people who have a ticket will be allowed inside the gym. Parents will have the option of taking their child home with them afterwards, and once again, Thank you for choosing E.J. Hayes: Where relationships foster learning!

Please continue to help by keeping students home if they have any flu or covid symptoms. Testing is also available at the school for students and teachers who develop symptoms. If you signed a sheet for your family to receive a computer and a hotspot, please stop by the school between 9 and 12 on a regular day or after 3:00 in the afternoon to pick up your devices and sign a contract. Please call the school if you have questions. We are doing check in tests Monday through Thursday this week.
