JES will have an Advisory Board Meeting on Thursday November 21st at 5:30 pm in JES Conference Room. The topic will be the JES Title I plan for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be around 45 minutes.

The Morehead Planetarium will be on the JES campus on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The students participating in this event have already paid the fee and completed the permission forms.

4th Grade Field Trip to Pettigrew State Park for Indian Heritage Week is on November 7th. Students will be leaving school at 8:15 and returning before buses depart. Permission slips have been sent home and need to be returned with the money by November 5th.

Wednesday is I Can, You Can, We Can “Sock” it to Drugs - We will have a can food drive for the local food bank and students are encouraged to wear Crazy Socks with the School Uniform.
Tuesday is Team Up Against Drugs - Students can wear their favorite team, college shirt and/or jersey with the uniform bottom.
