The annual JES-Chuckwagon Fundraiser will take place Saturday October 12th from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please make plans to dine at the Chuckwagon on that date and thank you in advance for support JES and the Chuckwagon.

JES will be dismissing a few minutes later today. The 4th and 5th grade students will be returning to school between 3:05 and 3:10-Please alert the persons assigned to pick up your children-Thank you in advance for your help and support.


Hearing Screenings will take place at JES on Monday for Kindergarten and 3rd grade students beginning at 11:30 am.


The 4th and 5th graders will be attending the POE Center in Raleigh on Monday, October 7th. Please have your students at school by 7:45 am so we may leave promptly at 7:50.


4th and 5 graders will be traveling to the POE Center on Monday October 7, 2019. Please be on the lookout for information from your teachers about the field trip.


Friday October 4, 2019 is an early release day for JES and MCS. The school day ends at 1:00 pm. Teachers will be providing instruction and teaching on Friday. Please make plans to attend school on Friday.

Please begin turning in your Candy Man Fundraiser money on Monday September 30th. The deadline is Wednesday October 2nd. Thank you for supporting JES.


Finally, as the seasons change - please make sure that you follow the MCS dress code. A point of emphasis is no hoodies or boots.


Be on the lookout for information being posted on i-Ready and i-Station assessments that students are currently completing.


Please make sure that you are reviewing your child’s class newsletter each week. Teachers are placing them in their bookbags and they are being posted and archived on the website each week.


The JES 2nd Grade will be attending Aladdin on Friday September 27th at the Martin County Auditorium on the Riverside High School campus. Please be on the lookout for permission forms and paperwork for the trip.


The Candy Man fundraiser has started for JES. This is our main fundraiser for JES each year. Please support your children and JES by participating in this important fundraiser. All orders are due back by October 2nd.


Thank you to the JES PTA for sponsoring the dance on Friday night. A great time was had by everyone.


Make sure that your children are on time to school each day. Please leave them in class each day as close to 3:00 pm as possible. We need them in school as much as possible. Do not forget that afternoon pickup ends at 2:30 pm and does not begin again until 3:00 pm.


Make are that your children are following the MCS dress code each day.


JES campus is designated as an alternative landing site for the East Care Medical transport in Jamesville. They were on campus this morning to pick up a critical care patient. The patient was not a student or staff member at JES. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact JES administration.
