This Mr. Mizelle with your weekly reminders.

Yearbooks are now on sale for $45. You will have to pre-order and pay for the yearbook this year by THURSDAY March 28. You must pay with cash or check to Mr. Griffin at the RHS campus and Ms. Woolard at the IC. Please contact Ms. Cardwell and Mr. Griffin for more information. Once again the deadline to order is Thursday March 28.

Prom tickets are now on sale. The deadline to purchase tickets has been extended until 1 pm on MARCH 27. No tickets can be purchased after Wednesday MARCH 27. Tickets are $35 a person or $60 a couple. Nurse Spence will be in charge of ticket sales and exact change or a check must be used as payment. The grand march will require a $5 admission for each guest to view. This is a fundraiser to assist the prom committee with supplies for prom. Please remember that the last day to buy tickets is March 27.

Don’t forget about our math tutoring after school on Tues./Thurs. Until 4:15 pm. You must have transportation home.

All 12th graders needing help with the FAFSA process need to contact Ms. James. She can also help students with scholarships and grants that are available.

Any SCHS senior who has not ordered their cap/gown needs to do so ASAP. If you have questions about the process, please see or contact Ms. Wynn. Cap and gown pictures for all SCHS 12th graders who have their cap/gown will be on April 18. Sign up sheets will be emailed this week and students must sign up to reserve their seat and time. You must sign up by April 12. There is also a $10 seating fee for every participant due at the time of photo.

The JROTC will also host a blood drive in the auditorium lobby on May 3rd.

Students are reminded that they need to go directly to the bus or the car pickup area at the end of the school day. Any student staying after must have a teacher supervising them.

There will be a talent show on May 16. Any student interested in participating needs to see Mr. Edwards or Ms. Cardwell.

Counselors are in the process of having meetings with all 9, 10, and 11 grade students for Fall semester classes. A google form was sent from the school counselors to all children via email. Please start having conversations with your child about their graduation pathways. Also, remind your student to check their email DAILY.

March 27 from 4 to 7 pm and March 28 from 8 am to 12 pm are designated times for parent-teacher conferences. While scheduling a conference is not required, it is recommended for any guardian that may have a tight schedule to reach out to the teacher in advance to schedule a time.

March 28 is a teacher workday and there is no school for students. March 29 thru April 5 is Spring Break for all students. Students will return to campus on April 8. We hope that you have a restful Spring Break.
