Our halls were filled with polka dots, creativity, and imagination as our CUBS used a single dot as the starting point to create some AMAZING artwork! 🔵➡️🎨

We are so proud to celebrate Mrs. Jessica Dail, who has been selected as Martin County Schools’ K–5 Outstanding Math Teacher of the Year! 🎉💙
Mrs. Dail was recognized at school last week and was honored again at tonight’s Board of Education meeting! She was described as an engaging teacher whose classroom you simply didn’t want to leave - and we couldn’t agree more! ❤️
Mrs. Dail makes math meaningful, engaging, and FUN for her CUBS each and every day. Rodgers is so fortunate to have her! Help us give Mrs. Dail a HUGE congratulations on this well-deserved honor! 👏🐻💙

PAWS for Applause recognizes CUBS who are caught doing something awesome—showing great character, making good choices, and being positive examples for others! 💙🌟

Throughout the school, our classes took time to learn about and honor this important day in age-appropriate and meaningful ways. In Mrs. Uzzell’s 2nd grade class, students created special thank-you cards for our first responders: red for the fire department, blue for the police department, and white for the sheriff’s department. 🚒🚓
When put together, the red, white, and blue cards represented our country working together to honor, serve, and support one another.
We are proud of the many meaningful lessons in remembrance, gratitude, and unity that took place across Rodgers! 💙🐻
Our Kindergarten Cubs had so much fun exploring music and tempo during STEAM with colorful ribbons! 🎵 They moved them fast and slow, high and low, and tossed them into the air as they experienced music through movement!
Learning, creating, moving, and having FUN in STEAM at RES! 💙🐻🎶
Our 5th graders created their own polling questions (either numerical or categorical) and then became data collectors as they surveyed their classmates! Then, they uses the data they collected to create and analyze graphs. 📈
Students reflected on patriotism, remembrance, and the bravery of our first responders, then created mini posters showing why they are proud to be Americans and thankful for our heroes. They also created special 9/11 memorial ribbons. ❤️🤍💙

That clarinet, trumpet, flute—or other band instrument that once filled your home with music—may be ready for an encore.
Martin County Schools’ growing Elementary Band Program is seeking previously loved instruments to help our youngest musicians take their very first steps into the world of music.
We have an immediate need for 1 clarinet, 1 trumpet, and 1 flute, and anticipate additional needs as the program continues to grow.
For a new student, your donated instrument could become more than something they learn to play. It could be the beginning of confidence, creativity, friendships, performances, and a love of music that stays with them for years to come.

Donated instruments may be dropped off at any MCS campus or at MCS Central Office, 407 East Boulevard, Williamston.
