MIMS students spent an exciting day at the Outer Banks.
They visited the Bodie Island Lighthouse & Roanoke Island Festival Park. Students explored a Native American village, early English settlement, and the Elizabethan sailing ship.

Our MIMS & Band students took part in the Williamston Christmas parade on Saturday. We are so proud of our students and their community involvement.
Our students are excited to kick off the holiday season!










Mrs Stalls class tasted cranberries, used catapult cranberries and built 2D and 3D shapes using cranberries and toothpicks.






6th Grade Social Studies students studied the Indus Valley Civilizations. A key topic was economy, and the role trade played within their economy. Students were tasked with building an ancient trading cart that could be pulled by Sphero Robots.










Toys For Tots 2025

Mrs. Willoughby's students are busy designing their own creative balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What a fun project. Maybe we'll actually see one in the parade in the future.

Mrs Stalls class talked about pumpkins this week. We had a pumpkin taste and had a pumpkin catapult challenge.






6th grade MIMS students had a fun filled day. Students explored Wright Brothers Memorial & Jockey’s Ridge State Park.
