In Loving Memory of Jaden Wiggins
🕊️💚🐊
Today, MCHS honored the life and memory of Jaden Wiggins, one of our own, with a tribute display in the main hall and by flying our flags at half-staff.
Jaden was more than a student — he was a friend, a classmate, and a cherished member of our Gator family. His presence touched many, and his absence is deeply felt throughout our school and community.
We extend our love and prayers to Jaden’s family, friends, and all who knew him.
Once a Gator, Always a Gator.

🏌️♂️💚 MCHS Golf Team at State Playoffs 💚🏌️♂️
Today, the MCHS Golf Team competed in the state playoffs, representing our school with pride, strength, and unity.
In a powerful tribute, the team wore ribbons in honor of our fallen Gator, keeping his memory close as they played.
We are proud of our golfers—not only for their athletic performance but for the heart and character they showed on and off the course. 🐊💔

🎉 Happy Principal Appreciation Day! 🎉
Today, we celebrate the heart of our school—our amazing principal, Mr. Mizelle! 💙 Your leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to students, staff, and families make a difference every single day. From fostering a positive school culture to championing student success, your work does not go unnoticed.
Thank you for leading with compassion, courage, and purpose. We are so lucky to have you at the helm of our school community! 👏📚👨🏫

Students are hard at work in and out of the classroom in the CTE Agriculture and Natural Resources program. Pruning, weeding, and fertilizing are some of the skills gained by working in the campus garden. We provide options for all students. So if you don't have a green thumb to garden, students have constructed and stained beautiful summer picnic tables. Support your local MCS Ag program and FFA by purchasing one of these handcrafted beauties, just in time for the season ($100). Contact Caroline Patterson or Jason Wynne, 252-792-8812. These tables will go fast!

📚✨ A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Multi-Lingual teacher, Ms. Danette Groce and dedicated community volunteer, Mr. David Henley! Your commitment, compassion, and creativity make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every day. Whether you're guiding language development, supporting cultural transitions, or simply showing up with a smile, your impact is truly immeasurable. 💙
We’re so grateful for all you do to help our students grow, thrive, and feel seen. Together, we're building a stronger, more inclusive community—one word, one lesson, one connection at a time. 🙌🌍

Thank you to Sweet Water Creek Seed Company for sponsoring the Agriscience/FFA Garden at the Career & Technical Center on the Innovation Campus. Not only are our vegetables growing, but our students are too in work-based learning!
