These are the weekly announcements for October 31, 2022:
- Beginning November 1st, Senior fees will be $85 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses.
- Boys Basketball Tryouts will begin October 31st 3:30-5:30. You must have all final forms and current physical to take part. Fall athletics your tryout will begin the school day after your season ends. Workouts for anyone not playing a current sport are going on already. See Coach Williams for information.
- Girls Basketball Tryouts will begin on October 31st-November 2nd starting at 5:30 nightly. Each night is mandatory. You must have your final forms complete and have a current physical on file to participate. See Coach Pointe for more information.
- The Annual Band Fruit Fundraiser is underway. Please see a band student or contact Ms. Cardwell to purchase fruit!
- This is the last call for students to join the Interact Club. Interested students should stop by to see Mrs. Hoggard in room 183 to pick up an application & pay the $30 dues. The absolute last day to join will be Friday, Nov. 4th.
- Progress reports will go out on November 2 to all students.
- Registration for the November 28th-December 12th driver education classes will take place at Riverside High School and South Creek High School. Class time will be from 3:30-6:30. Registration at South Creek High School will take place November 15th and 16th from 3:30-4:15 in the cafeteria. Registration at Riverside High School will take place November 16th and 17th from 3:30-4:15 in the auditorium lobby. The cost of driver education is 65 dollars. Students need to register at the school they plan to take the class at. Students need to be 14.5 years of age to take the classroom portion of driver education. Students must also attend school in Martin County to register for the class. Homeschool students are eligible to register for the class as long as they reside in Martin County. - Thursday, November 10, 2022, is a 12:00 pm Early Release Day.
- Friday, November 11, 2022, there will be no school in observance of Veterans Day.
