These are the weekly announcements for October 24, 2022:

  • The 1-time Senior fees are currently $75 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses. Fees will increase by $10 at the end of October to $85. 
  • There will be a FAFSA night on Tuesday, October 25th from 5-7 pm in the media center. Come get assistance with the FAFSA, as well as RDS & college applications. Please have personal & financial information handy, including parent/legal guardian & child’s social security #, drivers license # & 2021 tax info.
  • Boys Basketball Tryouts will begin Oct 31st from 3:30-5:30.   You must have all final forms and current physical to take part.   Fall athletics your tryout will begin the school day after your season ends. Workouts for anyone not playing a current sport are going on already.   See Coach Williams for information.
  • Girls Basketball Tryouts will begin on October 31st-November 2nd starting at 5:30 nightly. Each night is mandatory.  You must have your final forms complete and have a current physical on file to participate. See Coach Pointe for more information.
  • The Annual Band Fruit Fundraiser is underway. Please see a band student or contact Ms. Cardwell to purchase fruit! 
  • Now is the time to register for Martin Community College Classes for the spring with Mr. Smith.  If you have not met with him about spring classes, sign up for a knight lunch slot or stop by his office in Guidance on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
  • Any student interested in joining the Spanish Club needs to sign up for KLB with Mrs. Raynor. 
  • Summer 2023 Italy trip interest meeting  Wednesday October 26th at 5:00 pm in RHS media center 
  • According to Administering Medications Policy code 6125, students can only have prescription or over the counter medications at school with a certified authorization from a physician and a signed consent from a parent.  This covers everything from Advil to inhalers.  If your student needs medications like these on campus, self-administered or staff administered, the proper forms must be submitted.  Students may not share medications with others under any circumstances!  (motrin, midol, Tylenol, etc) If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Mrs. Spence, the school nurse.
