These are the weekly announcements for October 3, 2022

  • The 1 time Senior fees are currently $75 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses. Fees will increase by $10 at the end of October to $85. 
  • FFA BBQ plates are on sale Monday 9/19 through 10/5. Plates are $10 and will be supporting the high school FFA chapter. Students can pick up tickets and order forms from Mrs. Smith or Mr. Bennett at the MCSIC. 
  • HOSA will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday October 5th at the Martin County Schools Innovative Campus from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.  You may register online with the American Red Cross.
  • Seniors are reminded to schedule their senior conferences with their school counselor. Please check the Senior Google Classroom or your student email for the links.
  • The Annual Band Fruit Fundraiser will begin on Monday, October 3rd. Please see a band student or contact Ms. Cardwell to purchase fruit! 
  • Fall and Senior makeup portraits will take place Friday October 7. SENIORS, only formal portraits will be taken! Students should complete the form in the Senior Class Google Classroom by 3pm on Monday Oct. 3  to sign up.  This will be the last chance for all students to take photos to be represented in the 2022-23 yearbook.
  • Senior Ad Forms are now available in the Senior Google Classroom. If  you would like to purchase a Senior Ad for the 2022-23 yearbook please complete and turn into Mrs. Crosby.  Forms and money will be accepted daily until the end of 2nd period.
  • Any student interested in joining the Interact Service Club needs to stop by & see Mrs. Hoggard in room 183 for an application. Applications & $30 dues are due by October 21st.
  • The first grading period ends on Friday, October 7th.  Students need to ensure they have completed and turned in all assignments by the end of the school day on Friday.
  • Students are reminded that hats and hoods are not to be worn in the building. Crop tops are not allowed and shorts must be longer than the index finger when a student is standing. Please check the MCS dress code policy for a full list of approved apparel.
  • Cheer tryouts for our Varsity squad only for basketball season will be held on October 12-13 from 4:30-5:30. Athletes must be academically eligible, have a current physical, and be in the 11th or 12th grade.
