Greetings Tiger Family, This is your Principal Jason Myers with the Weekly announcements for E.J. Hayes. We had an amazing first week of school! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through the normal craziness of the first week. A Reminder: Please do not park your car and walk your child into the building or walk up to the building to collect your child in the afternoon. The car line now moves very quickly. Please also make certain that your student has a mask with them before exiting your car in the morning or going to the bus stop. The tardy bell rings at 7:55am. If you drop your child off after this time, please walk them in the building to the front office. If you have a computer from last year from Williamston Primary or EJ Hayes, please return it to the school as soon as possible, Thank you ! Bus 214 and Bus 210 will not be bringing students to Hayes this week in the morning. Bus 210 will still drive students home if your child only rides it in the afternoons. Parents were contacted on Friday concerning this situation. Please call the school at 252-792-3678 if you have questions or if you were not contacted. Parents please make sure that your child is wearing a collared shirt to school and keep in mind that Hoodies are not permitted in the school building! Friday are always spirit day where students can wear any EJ Hayes shirts or sweatshirts! Lets make week #2 spectacular! Thank you for choosing E.J. Hayes: Where relationships foster learning!

Greetings Tiger Family, This is your Principal Jason Myers. First of all, today was an amazing day! The kids were eager to learn and very respectful of the teachers and staff. We did have some bus issues today and we want to make sure that we fix them moving forward. Please send a note with your child with a current home address and phone number tomorrow. In the future, always send a detailed note if there are any changes in transportation. I would like to personally apologize if the bus was late today or if your child was not picked up. If your child rides bus 176 in the morning, they will be driven home on bus 210, 214, or 224 for the next few days. Thank you for working with us! If you have any questions please call the school at 792-3678. Thank you for choosing E.J. Hayes: Where relationships foster learning!
