March 2nd - 6th

- We would like to thank all of our families who attended our STEM night on Friday.  We hope that you had a great time exploring a variety of science and math activities!

- Our PTA fundraiser began last Wednesday and will continue through March 11th. 

 - Our next RES Spirit Night will be this Tuesday, March 3rd from 5 to 8 pm at Mama's Pizza. A percentage of the profits will be donated to our school and students who attend will receive a CUB card.  We hope to see you there!  

- This week, RES will celebrate Read Across America Week with the following Dr. Seuss book  themed activities. 

Monday: The Sleep Book – Students may wear school-appropriate pajamas.

Tuesday: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish – Students may wear any red or blue shirt with school uniform pants.

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday – Wacky/Tacky Day – Students may wear any mismatched attire.

Thursday: Oh’ The Places You’ll Go! – Students may wear any college team shirt with uniform pants,

Friday: The Foot Book – Students may wear crazy or mismatched socks with their school uniform. (If students have an AR wristband, they may still wear their jeans with their AR wristband. Any student may also wear their RES shirts.)

- Parents are reminded that if you are planning to pick your child up early, they must be signed out by 2:45 or you will need to get in the car rider line.

- During this cold season, please remember that your child must be fever free without the aid of medication for 24 hours before returning to school. Don't forget to send a note the day they return to school.

- Lastly, in the words of Dr. Seuss, "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child."
