Hi Riverside families, this is Mrs. Brantley, with your weekly announcements!

Soccer is in full swing! We play at Bear Grass on Monday at 4:00 PM, and then again at Indian Lakes Sports Complex in Tarboro on Tuesday at 4 pm. Let’s cheer on our Gators!

Volleyball is here at Riverside on Thursday at 4:00 PM—come pack the stands and show your school spirit!

Big reminder: Wednesday, September 10th is an Early Release Day! We will dismiss at 11:55 AM sharp. That means a shorter day for our students and extra planning time for our teachers. Families, please make arrangements for pickup!

Also, we are kicking off our i-Ready Math Diagnostic. We’re asking every scholar to do their absolute best so we know exactly how to support their growth this year. Parents, please encourage your child to come focused and ready to shine.

And as always, let’s keep practicing our PRO Matrix: Practice Respect, Be Responsible, and Own Your Actions.

Thank you for supporting Riverside Middle—One Team, One Mission!

Good evening Riverside families! This is Mrs. Brantley, your proud principal at Riverside Middle! 🎉

Wow—what an amazing Open House! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed meeting so many of you. Your excitement and energy filled our halls, and it makes me even more thrilled about the incredible year ahead. I cannot wait to partner with you to make this year unforgettable for our students.

Here’s what you need to know:
- The tardy bell rings at 7:55 AM—let’s start every day on time and ready to shine!
- Car riders may enter at 7:35 AM and head straight to the cafeteria to kick off their morning.
- Dismissal is at 2:55 PM! Parents, please make sure you are utilizing our pick up line rather than parking in the parking lot. This is for the safety of all students and staff.
-Please let’s show love and patience to our bus drivers. They’re working hard to get our students to and from school safely, and they deserve our understanding.

Families, together we are unstoppable. This year at Riverside we are going to Dream Big, Work Hard, and Take Flight! I believe in our students, I believe in our staff, and I believe in YOU—our Riverside families. Let’s do this, Riverside!
