It was a Martin County Schools Sweep at the area School Bus ROADeo, held Friday, March 20, at Bertie High School in Windsor.
Davis Salisbury, an MCS Mechanic and licensed school bus driver, took first place in the competition, where our drivers competed against others from Bertie, Washington, and Hertford Counties, as well as KIPP area schools.
Zoyreeon Pitt, Custodian at EJ Hayes Elementary School, took second place in the event.
And Williamston Primary School’s Marvin Brown, Custodian, finished third.
Salisbury will go on to compete in the upcoming district event.
