Our Martin County Schools Theater Department presents our first production with actors from our Middle School Theater Program.

Into the Woods, Jr. is a new take on Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s groundbreaking musical fairytale about wishes and the choices we make.

Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical.

Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

You have three opportunities to catch the show this weekend at the Martin County Auditorium on the campus of Martin County High School.

The production begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10. Doors open at 6 p.m. nightly.

Showtime is 2 p.m. for the Sunday, May 11 show. Doors will open at 1 p.m.

We are offering theater class earlier than ever before, and we hope you will come out and support this inaugural middle school show!
