Thursday, Nov. 11th - No School for Students and Staff in observance of Veteran’s Day. Our next PTA meeting will be November 18th at 7pm with a Veteran's Day Program with all grades performing. JES will honor and remember our Veterans serving in all branches of the military. Please invite a veteran to our program.
This week Kindergarten will take a class trip Tues. Nov 2nd and 4th grade will travel to Kitty Hawk to Jennette's Pier Fri. Nov 5th.
PTA sent home ham/turkey raffle tickets last week with students. Students will have until Nov 12 to sell tickets. Winners will be announced at the Nov 18th meeting. PTA is also requesting donations for the JES Christmas Store. Students may earn tickets and have the opportunity to cash in tickets for Christmas presents for family members. Donations can be made in the main office.
Student of the Month for September signs need to be returned to the main office as soon as possible. Students of the Month for October letters will go home this week with yard signs.
If your child is experiencing any symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19, please contact the school nurse or administration prior to sending your child to school. We will continue to work together to keep students, staff and parents safe and healthy. Masks are required for everyone in the buildings and on buses.
