This is an important message for parents and guardians of Martin County Schools students attending Summer Learning Activities at one of the South Creek campuses, Riverside campuses or E.J. Hayes Elementary School and have not arranged transportation to one of the two Boys & Girls Club locations.
We understand that there has been some confusion regarding transportation and the Boys & Girls Club option. We apologize for any inconvenience, and would like to offer the following reminder:
If your student has not attended the Boys & Girls Club Orientations recently held in Robersonville or Williamston, if you have not completed an application at orientation or if you have not had any further confirmation of enrollment from the Boys & Girls Club - your student will need to be picked up by 12:30 p.m. each day.
Clarification: At this time, transportation at 12:30 p.m. is only being provided at the end of the day to the Boys & Girls club locations. MCS is exploring possible options to provide transportation but it will not be available this coming week beginning Monday, June 14. We will keep you informed of any changes.
Again, Please plan to pick up your student between noon - 12:30 p.m. beginning Monday, June 14th if they have not been accepted & confirmed by the B & G club. Thank you for helping us make this a successful summer experience for our students.
