Changes in administrative roles have brought some new faces to assistant principal positions in Martin County. 

Kelvin Chadwick, who has most recently served as assistant principal of Riverside High School, will be transitioning to South Creek Elementary School to take on the same responsibilities. Chadwick joined Martin County Schools as an assistant principal in 2017. 

Dr. Shelley West, who joined the district as an instructional coach for high school math this summer, has transitioned into the role of assistant principal at Riverside High School. 

The newest addition to the Martin County Schools administrative team is Stephanie Cottle who is now the assistant principal of Riverside Middle School. Cottle comes to the district from Bertie County and brings a wealth of administrative and Career Technical Education experience. 

West and Cottle have already assumed their new roles. Chadwick will make the transition in the coming weeks.
