Cross, Hudson, Price

When school resumes at Williamston Primary School, there will be new leadership at the helm.

Dr. Angela Cross, who served the district as Assistant Exceptional Children Director, will serve as the principal of Williamston Primary School. Before her position at Central Office, Dr. Cross served as principal of Rodgers Elementary School for three years. She also served as principal at Edna Andrews Elementary School and South Creek Middle School.

Leigh Ann Hudson will return to the Central Office as Assistant Exceptional Children Director, the position she held before her time at Williamston Primary School.

“Both Dr. Cross and Mrs. Hudson have a strong track record of educating and serving our children,” said Dr. Michelle White, Superintendent of Martin County Schools. “Each of these career educators brings different strengths to the table, and they agree this shifting of roles will allow them to best serve our students.”

Tina Price joins Williamston Primary School for the coming school year, serving as assistant principal.

She transitions to administration from the classroom at Riverside Middle School, where she taught students in the Exceptional Children program. Price also served Martin County Schools as an Exceptional Children Compliance Specialist for more than a decade.

“Mrs. Price brings a deep understanding of Exceptional Children that will translate to a tremendous benefit for all students,” said Dr. Michelle White, Superintendent of Martin County Schools. “She has served students across our district from Pre-K to High School with an intense dedication to see them thrive. We are excited to see the positive impact Mrs. Price will have next year, and for many years to come.”

Price will officially join Dr. Angela Cross, Principal, and the Williamston Primary School team in August.
