Company Owned by Former Student Gives Back

A Sunday morning conversation led to surprise Valentine’s Day gifts for a number of Riverside High School students.

Equipment Plus Total Facility Solutions in Greenville is owned and operated by Robbie Taylor, a Williamston High School graduate. As the company has grown, so has the Employee Ministry Team, which is currently directed by Roger Ward, also a Williamston High School graduate.

Thanks to the dedication of the company, the Employee Ministry Team regularly contributes to an array of ministry and community outreach initiatives.

In conversations with friends who are on staff at Riverside High School, Ward and the team saw an opportunity to meet a need for students. In talking with staff, they realized sweatshirts may be helpful.

Working with the school, Equipment Plus donated nearly 150 RHS monogrammed, crew-neck sweatshirts that fellow WHS alum and school nurse Tami Spence began giving out Monday at lunch.

As students learned of the source of the unexpected gifts, their faces lit up. Caught off guard by such a pleasant surprise, one young lady paused and said, “Please tell them thank you.”
