Monday, October 6, 2025 marked the last home meet for our cross country seniors. Ariana Howard, Alex Lee, and Ezzurie Williams have contributed so much to our program over the years. The meet against Bear Grass and North Pitt was another great day for the Gators. The girls' team placed second with Katibeth Speller in 1st, Maite Rodriguez in 3rd, Geidy Felix Mendez in 5th, Ariana Howard in 9th, and Ezzurie Williams in 15th. Maite, Geidy, Ariana, and Ezzurie ran their fastest time on our course this season, Ezzurie Williams ran a personal best today. The boys finished strong with Ethan Copeland in 3rd, Hector Pedraza in 6th, Alex Lee in 10th, and Jamarian Croom in 20th. The Gators are scheduled to run one more meet before the conference championship meet on October 15th.

Both reps shared valuable insights about the application process, scholarships, campus life, and what makes their universities unique. Students asked great questions and walked away with a clearer picture of their future college paths. 🌟

Special thanks to Williamston Fire Rescue for assisting our Health Science students with Fire Safety. This training allows students real-world experience with fire extinguisher use and putting on turnout gear with airpacks to know what it's like to serve as a firefighter.
