During its September 14 meeting, the Martin County Board of Education was recognized for recently receiving the Gold Bell Award. The honor reflects the Board’s commitment to continued learning, professional development, and effective leadership.
The Gold Bell Award, which comes from the North Carolina School Boards Association, signifies that each Martin County Board of Education member completed 12 or more hours of training between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to strengthening their knowledge and service to the students, staff, families, and community of Martin County Schools.
