Martin County Schools said goodbye to our German Exchange students on Monday morning.
Our friends wrapped up their final week in Eastern North Carolina with a visit to East Carolina University, WITN-TV-7, breakfast at Shaw’s Bar-B-Q, and a line dancing class.
Students participated in an embroidery class and created their own North Carolina sweatshirt. Their final field trip was filled with exploring our amazing Outer Banks.
They were sent off with a Farewell Dinner that involved campfire hot dogs, s’mores, and the sharing of sweet memories from a fun two weeks!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making their stay memorable and helping them feel they always have a friend in Eastern Carolina.
