Vigil

School may have been out for students Friday, but some chose to return for a special event.

Riverside High School's Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter held an event Friday morning (4/7) to remember those lost in the Nashville, TN, school shooting and pray for their own school. Pastor Greg Sexton from Macedonia Christian Church led a time of reflection and remembrance. Travis Wester, the chapter's staff advisor, led the group on a prayer walk through the school. Renee Purvis, MCS Board of Education Vice-Chair, was among the adults who joined the event.
