Mr. Lucas Berrini’s Media Class at Martin County Middle School welcomed WITN News Director Clayton Bauman for a special behind-the-scenes conversation about broadcast journalism.

Students shared their early video projects and their big plans for the class, while Mr. Bauman shared his journey into television news and what it takes to keep a newsroom moving each day across Eastern North Carolina.

And for a couple of students, the lesson got even more hands-on — with the chance to experience what it’s like on both sides of the camera! 🎤📹
