Good evening JES!
We will begin End of Grade testing this week with 5th grade Science Thursday, May 20th. All students in grades 3-5 will take the Reading EOG Tuesday, May 25th and Math EOG Wednesday, May 26th. We need all students present and on time for testing.
Please make sure you are sending water each morning with your child. There are no water fountains available to students.
Virtual students, we will begin collecting your computers June 1st. Parents may bring the computers, chargers and Hotspots to the main office. Face to face students, teachers will be taking up computers in their classes. Make sure to return chargers and Hotspots also.
Just a reminder of the latest health updates on COVID symptoms which now include sore throat, severe headache, and diarrhea or vomiting. If your child has any of these symptoms, please contact the school nurse Julie Thomas prior to your child returning to school. Thanks to all the parents for their patience and cooperation this week.
Monday, May 31st is Memorial Day Holiday No School for Students/Staff. Last day for PreK is June 2nd. June 3rd is the last day of school (K-5th) and early release at 1pm.
JES Drive thru Parent Night will be Wednesday, May 19th 5:00-6:30 pm. Students and parents will receive “helpful tips” along with literacy, math and science resources. Home FUN! Parents please follow the same traffic directions for drop off and pick up.
