We had a great first week! We would like to thank everyone for their patience as our little ones learn new routines.
Our instructional day runs from 8:00 am-2:55 pm. Students may enter the building at 7:30 am. Students will be seated in the cafeteria from 7:30 am-7:45 am. At 7:45 am students may transition down the hall to class. A bell will ring at 7:56 am to begin morning announcements. Class instruction will begin promptly at 8:00 am. Bus riders are released at 2:55 pm and car riders are released at 3 pm. If you need to pick a student up early, make sure to check out prior to 2:30 pm. After 2:30 pm, students will be dismissed at the regular time of 3 pm.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided again to Martin County students at no cost. Extras and additional snacks/ice cream will be priced individually.
MCS technology fee $25 for all students K-12; cash or check payable to: Martin County Schools. You may send the fee to school by your student or pay online https://osp.osmsinc.com/MartinNC.
Parents can track the bus through an app Here Comes the Bus.

Please complete the beginning of the year paperwork and send it back to teachers.
We will begin beginning of year assessments (BOY) in reading and math this week. As soon as all diagnostics are completed, parents will be informed of student results. 3rd grade students will take the beginning of grade reading assessment on Thursday, September 7th.
