Due to inclement weather, we will be on a 2-hour delay schedule for Monday, January 26, 2026.
Students in Dr. Mabry's MCC ENG112 class will not meet face-to-face. Those students should check the Moodle for their assignment.

Our students had an engaging first day of second semester! We're off to a great start and can't wait to see what our students will experience this semester!
We are thrilled to announce that Ezzurie Williams has been selected as a finalist for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship!!!!!
As part of the final selection process, Ezzurie has earned an all-expenses paid 5-day experience on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. She will learn more about the Morehead-Cain Program, meet other finalists from around the globe and sit for her final interview.
We are beyond proud of Ezzurie and wish her all the best! We know she will represent Martin Innovative Early College High School and Martin County Schools well!!

Students in Mr. Hollis’s Honors English 3 recently moved beyond traditional literary analysis, translating complex symbolism into creative masterpieces. By analyzing the recurring motifs that define a character’s journey, the class crafted creative responses ranging from 3-D structures to vintage-inspired gatefold record covers. Each project shows a deep understanding of the character’s journey, proving that literary themes can be expressed through both words and art.
Drumroll please…… Martin County High School has just been notified that our Gator Band has received a $20,000 grant!

The girls' soccer team will have a meeting on January 6, 2026, at 3:30 PM in the MCHS Media Center.

The ACT assessment conveys a student's readiness for college, helps with scholarships, offers insights for career/major choices and provides a chance to stand out in college admissions. Attendance for prep sessions and testing is MANDATORY!

MCS has an 12:00 release on Dec 8, 2025. MCHS/Early College dismisses ten minutes later to accommodate RMS dismissal since we share buses. Students go to classes in 1-2-4-3 order and eat lunch in 3rd block. Students have their usual lunch just at different times. The MCHS/Early College School Improvement Team meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday. Everyone stay safe!

Today some of our early college students volunteered at the Williamston Farmers' Market to unload pallets and pack Thanksgiving food boxes. Our students enjoyed being able to give back to their community. Happy Thanksgiving from the early college!
We had a blast participating the Williamston Christmas Parade!! Seeing all the smiles as we rode through town was truly amazing. Special shout out to Matthew Sessoms for providing our "snowy sleigh ride". To top if off we won 3rd place! Merry Christmas from Martin Innovative Early College!!
