Riverside High and South Creek High Announcements
Effective January 19, 2024
Washington County has given us 150 tickets (wristbands) for presale. We will allow each athlete to buy two tickets. Tickets will go on sale for the current basketball players and cheerleaders all day tomorrow, Jan 19th until 1:00.
Tickets will go on sale to the public starting Friday, Jan 19th from 1:30-3:30 and Monday, Jan 22 from 8:00-3:30, and Tuesday, Jan 23 from 8:00-1:30. Wristbands must be on your wrist to enter the game.

Students, please arrive to school by 8:10 am with your charged Chromebook for exams. Wedneday we are giving 3rd period EOC and CTE exams. Thursday we are giving 4th period EOC and CTE exams.

Jan. 23 there will be a second semester open house from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the campus of Riverside HS. All Riverside and South Creek HS students/parents are invited to come and meet their second semester teachers. Please join us for an important presentation by the administration/student services dept. in the auditorium at 5:45 pm. We will review all the exciting things that our campus has to offer. Our extra curricular activities and clubs will be on display in the auditorium lobby. We ask that everyone start at RHS and then transition to the innovative campus afterwards if needed.
All students please be sure to charge your chromebooks nightly before exams.

You do not have to wait for high school to take hands-on classes such as Exploring Environment and Natural Resources! Just as Samantha Hoggard's seventh graders at Riverside Middle School.
This morning students used a standard water monitoring kit to test water samples from the water fountain, the workroom sink, the Roanoke River, and the Pamlico River.
The samples were tested for dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, phosphate, and nitrate. They have been learning about water quality and pollution so this was a hands-on opportunity to analyze local water sources and our drinking water.
