The fifth grade recently completed their science experiments in which they determined which substances reacted to fire. They used their flow charts as a path to determine unknown substances and label them. All test included using, water, vinegar, reacting to fire, and observing the shape and size. this was a multistep process that spanned over several days. The students enjoyed the challenge and the learning process as well.
