Some of the students at E J Hayes Elementary came to school dressed a bit differently today in celebration of the 100th day of school. Grey hair, canes, spectacles, an emergency alert, bushy eyebrows, facial hair etc... could be seen.on all the grade level halls and classrooms. In recognition for those who chose to participate for this occasion, the students were given a special privilege. They enjoyed eating their lunch together in Ms. Beth Griffin's room.
The above picture is of the 3rd and 5th graders who participated. The 4th graders came a bit later and enjoyed themselves too while eating their lunch with the other "elderly' students in the soothing atmosphere of Ms. Beth Griffin's room.
