TRIPLE P PARENTING PROGRAM
What is Triple P?
Triple P is a seminar-based parenting program that helps parents deal with some of the most common family situations. There is a series for parents of kids up to 12 years old and a series for parents of teens. Each series consists of three 90-minute sessions. You can attend all three or just one--it's up to you.
People will think I'm a bad parent if I attend?
Not at all. Children don't come with instructional manuals and parenting is one of the hardest jobs ever!. Triple P is for all parents that are looking for ideas and support. You'll be surprised how many other folks have the same questions you might have.
What is covered in a Triple P session?
All sorts of topics, such as:
How you can build a better relationship with your child.
How to reduce conflict.
How to take care of yourself as a parent.
How to deal with problem behavior.
Basically, Triple P can provide you with tools to make you more confident in parenting.
What does it cost?
Triple P is completely FREE! Martin County Schools is working with Trillium to help make the program available to our parents.
What do you have to lose? Come out and give it a try! You might find good fellowship and folks trying to figure out parenting just like you.
