JaBrian Spruill, a student at Riverside Middle School, was honored at the November
meeting of the Board of Commissioners for his community service at the RMS Shelter during
Hurricane Florence. JaBrian assisted by putting together cots, moving equipment, and
performing many other tasks to assist the shelter staff in running the shelter. He received
Certificates of Recognition from Letitia Loadholt, Department of Social Services Director,
and by Drew Robinson, Chief Deputy of the Martin County Sheriff's Department. Martin
County Schools is proud of JaBrian for his display of self-motivation and service to his
community during a time of crisis. Congratulations!!
