Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from JES:
MCS and JES resumes school on Monday November 30th. JES starts at 7:55 am.
Thank you to all of the parents for their support during the NC Check-Ins over the past several weeks. Thanks to your support we are able to obtain data to assist them in performing to their potential.
Progress reports go home to all students on Tuesday December 1st. Parents will receive a letter with their progress report if their children are in danger of being retained at the end of the school year. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s grades and status, please contact your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns.
Parents are reminded that if their child has been exposed to COVID-19 or has developed any of the symptoms listed on the JES website and shared during the Saturday night phone, please do not send them to school on Monday and contact our school nurse - Mrs. Julie Thomas by phone or email - jthomas@martin.k12.nc.us
Finally, please be careful to position your child in a vehicle so the heat does not blow directly on them. This could give us a false temperature reading and may delay or prevent your child from attending school that day.
