Good evening Happy Herringbones, The following are the weekly announcements from JES:
The MCS BOE had a special BOE meeting on Tuesday July 21st. The MCS BOE voted to complete the first nine weeks of school by using online instruction. JES is working with MCS to develop plans to start the school year. We need your help. When our teachers contact you by phone, please be prepared to answer questions about our program. Please take time to complete the survey included in the 7:00 pm text message and the link provided in the phone script on Facebook - https://bit.ly/MCS2021 Thank you in advance for your assistance. The summer Jump Start program begins for invited students on Tuesday July 28th. Teachers will be contacting you with instructions and technology pickup times on Monday July 27th.
The main office at JES will remain closed the week of July 27th. Office hours will be 8:00 am - 3:30 pm by appointment only.
Jamesville Elementary Schools is participating in the MCS summer feeding program. Hot meals and breakfast for the next morning are ready for pickup in the main lobby from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm each day. You do not have to be a JES student to participate. You have to be school age to qualify. Meals are at no charge to students.
We will be posting supply lists for the upcoming school year in the next few weeks. They will be available on our school website and in person in the main office. More information to follow. The lists may need to be adjusted depending on the finalized guidelines from the state of NC.
