Martin County Schools is observing Spring Break this week, March 23-27, 2020. Students are not required to complete any work this week.
If time out of school is extended, the week of March 30th students will use to complete the packets they were given this week. The week of April 6th, students will transition to online learning. Teachers have already set up their online classrooms and students have been sent invitations to join in their email. Students email login is firstname.lastname@student.martin.k12.nc.us and their password is their long Powerschool number with 4 zeros behind it. (In most cases that is...if you have trouble, you can message the teacher or call us at school.) Packets will also be available at school if you do not have access to the internet or if you do not have a device.
Lunch will continue to be served next week at all school locations from 11:00am-1:00pm. If you come to E. J. Hayes for lunch, please use the door at the back of the cafeteria. Students will also be given a breakfast for the next day. Hot lunches will also be delivered remotely Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Grab bags will be delivered Tuesday and Thursday. There is a separate post for times and locations as well as a menu.
Thank you all so much for your support and understanding as we have transitioned to a different way of learning. We miss all of our students and hope that we are able to see everyone again soon!
