Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from Jamesville Elementary School:
Attention 5th grade students and parents. The Wright Flight Trip to the Wright Memorial will be Thursday October 24th. We will load the busses at 7:45am to leave JES. Bring a jacket as the weather can be chilly in the morning. Bring a lunch box if they want more than the school's ham sandwich lunches. Also money if they wish to make purchases at the gift shop. Need a parent/guardian to pick up students from school around 4pm.
Wednesday is Unity Day at Jamesville Elementary School. We are encouraging students to wear orange tops with their uniform bottoms. In support of ending bullying at all levels. If students do not wear orange tops, they need to wear the uniform top.
Red Ribbon Week is the week of October 28th. We are sending home a handout on Red paper on Monday afternoon. A link to a copy of the form will post on Monday afternoon on the JES website. More information to follow.
Reminder - Monday is the last day to order the official JES PTA T-Shirt. Please consider ordering a t-shirt and support the group that supports your children.
All in school field trip and permission money for the Planetarium is due by Friday October 25th.
Students that take educational field trips with family and friends need to bring documentation when they return to school. Please be mindful that each trip takes away from students instructional time and may affect their performance.
Finally, parents please take time to go through your child’s bookbag and school books each night. Please take time to read with them and review their site words. Help us - Help them.
