Rodgers Elementary

Please join me in welcoming Alyssa Smith to the RES and JES families! Mrs. Smith is a trained singer and has taught music in K-5 classrooms. She received her Bachelors of Arts in music from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Her music lessons focus on both musical content and performance, mostly through the Kodaly method. This method focuses on basics of music skills through the integration of singing and collaborative interaction to build musicianship. She is excited to be working in Martin County, and look forward to cultivating an enriching music experience for young learners.
