South Creek Elementary School's Kim Haddock was the recipient of the final Be The Light Award given out before Christmas break.

"Mrs. Kim is the epitome of a Jack of All Trades, Master of All.
Not only does she serve as our School Social Worker, but also as the district’s McKinney-Vento liaison and Foster Care Liaison.
She is also a member of Better Together. She works day in and day out to ensure students, the community, and even staff have the support they need for comfort, safety, and success.
She is a highly sought-after and preferred adult to many students in our building and parents within our community. She provides them a space to feel heard, loved, and supported.
She is an advocate for all and never afraid to step up when needed within the school and district, often without being asked."
