Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from RHS:
Students and parents are reminded that MCS has an optional teacher workday on Monday March 18th. There is no school for students at RHS. School will resume on Tuesday with the Knight Lunch Schedule.
Students are reminded to follow the dress code, cell phone policy and be on time to school and class each day.
In order to graduate from Riverside High School, Seniors must complete a short CPR class. We are completing this during Knight Lunch B and C on the date included in this email. Please make plans to attend RHS on this day whether you are on campus during the Knight Lunches or not. Training will take place in the Auditorium. Please see Mr. Myers if you have any questions. Mr. Myers and Mr. Delph will sign you up for all three knight lunches on your schedule homeroom date. You will be scheduled to eat lunch during Knight Lunch A. Please see our website for a complete schedule.
Seniors that are interested in participating in the Baccalaureate service that will be held on Sunday, June 2nd need to contact Mrs. Shepherd ASAP.
Don’t forget to sign up for Knight Lunch in the media center. If you’d like to enjoy a cup of coffee, be sure to bring a cup with a lid. You can purchase creamer and coffee pods from Mrs. Shepherd for 50 cents each.
As we prepare for registration for the 2019-20 school year, any Rising Jr. or Sr. Interested in a CTE Internship, please complete the information form found at bit.ly/2019-20Interns See Mrs. Christenberry in the 900 building if you have any questions.
Juniors and Seniors are reminded to purchase their prom tickets for $35 each through Friday, March 22 from Mrs. Most before school, during 2nd period, or Knight Lunch A /B. Prices will go up to $45 each March 25. Students can also purchase grand march tickets for $5 each. Be sure to turn in your prom guest forms to the office ASAP.
Jostens will be back on campus on March 28 during all 3 lunches to distribute caps and gowns. You must have your balance paid or have the money with you in order to pick up your cap and gown. If you need to check your balance please refer to the RHS Class of 2019 Google Classroom. Please do not email Mrs. Alvarez asking for your balance--she doesn’t know.
Ani-Nation will not meet on Thursday March 21, after school, but will meet on Friday March 22, for a viewing, as long as students let Mrs. Butler know they plan to attend.
