These are the weekly announcements for September 26, 2022:
- Senior t-shirts will go on sale beginning Wednesday, August 31. Please see Mr. Hollis in room 011. The price will be $20 for sizes S-XL; 2XL is $22.00; 3XL is $24.00; 4XL is $26.00. Seniors have until September 26 to pay. Please bring exact change or check before 1:30 pm.
- Seniors are reminded that they must show proof of the mandatory meningococcal vaccine booster within the first 30 days of school. (You received the first one in 7th grade) Deadline for turning in documentation is 9/29. You will be unable to attend school after this day without documentation. Call your primary care provider or health department for an appointment. Please bring a copy of your immunization record to Tami Spence, School Nurse.

- The 1 time Senior fees are currently $75 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses. Fees will increase by $10 at the end of October to $85.
- Homecoming Court elections will begin on Monday, September 26, and will conclude on Wednesday, September 28. Ballots will be shared with each grade group Monday morning. The Court winners will be announced Thursday morning. We will have another election for the Homecoming Queen during Homecoming Week. The King will be announced at the pep rally on Wednesday, October 12 and the Queen will be announced at halftime of the football game on Friday, October 14.

- There will be a Senior Parent Information Night on Tuesday, September 27th in the RHS Media Center @ 6pm. Parents & students are encouraged to come out to learn more about the steps to your child’s post-secondary plans, and also get an overview on the Residency Determination Service & the FAFSA. There will be gift card giveaways & refreshments served as well. If you have any questions, please email the College Adviser, Ms. James at rfjames@martin.k12.nc.us. Hope to see you there!
- FFA BBQ plates are on sale Monday 9/19 through 10/5. Plates are $10 and will be supporting the high school FFA chapter. Students can pick up tickets and order forms from Mrs. Smith or Mr. Bennett at the MCSIC.
- HOSA will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday October 5th at the Martin County Schools Innovative Campus from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. You may register online with the American Red Cross.
- Seniors are reminded to schedule their senior conferences with their school counselor. Please check the Senior Google Classroom or your student email for the links.
- There will be an Interact Club interest meeting on Wednesday Sept. 28 during Knight Lunch B. Please sign up for that Knight Lunch if you are interested in joining the Interact Service Club.
