Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from RHS:
The Senior Honor Academic Luncheon is Monday May 20, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Moratoc Park. Honors seniors need to check with your counselor to pick up your invitation. See your counselor if you have any questions.
RHS Awards Night is scheduled for May 23, 2019 in the Martin County Auditorium. The event win begin promptly at 6:00 pm. More information to follow.
The RHS Spring Athletic/Sports Club Reception is May 28, 2019. It will begin with food in the cafeteria at 5:30 pm and transition to the auditorium 6:00 pm. More information to follow.
The next driver education class at Riverside High School will take place June 17th-21st from 8:30-3:30 in the auditorium. The cost of the class is 65 dollars and registration will take place on the first day of class. Students need to be born on or before December 2004. Email amcgill@martin.k12.nc.us or ljackson@martin.k12.nc.us with any questions.
Football spring skill development will begin Monday, May 13th after school from 3:30-5:00, Any current Riverside High School student interested in playing this year may attend and participate as long as they have a current physical on file at the school.
Any student interested in sports medicine/athletic training as a career, see Coach McGill for more information on a summer symposium from July 15-18th at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Tuition is 400 dollars which cover room, meals, and activities.
There will be a SENIOR PARTY on Tuesday evening June 4th at 5:30 pm at Moratoc Park. ALL seniors/staff are invited as well as parents and families. There will be games, a cookout, music etc. The cost of the event is $7 per person. PLEASE RSVP by May 22nd with the number attending to vward@martin.k12.nc.us
Ani-Nation will meet again this week in Mrs. Butler’s room on Thursday 16.

Any students that took their art home last semester that would like for it to be in the Annual Riverside Spring Art Show need to return their work to Mrs. Butler no later than Friday May 17 at 3 pm.
Please continue to help save the Earth and turn your bottle caps into the bucket on the left side of the the cafeteria or turn them into Mrs. Butler in Room 206.
FCA will meet Wednesday, May 15th at 7 am at Bojangles.
