Students are reminded to be to school and class on time. Students that have missed over 8 days may be in danger of failing their courses due to attendance, even if you are passing the course academically. Makeup time is minute for minute. If you have any questions, please contact administration.
Attention seniors, juniors and sophomores - RHS is excited to announce that we have a special opportunity on our campus. Riverside High School is hosting a Job Fair on May 8th during all three Knight Lunches. You will have the opportunity to meet local business owners and look at career opportunities. Local businesses will be prepared to conduct interviews and offer full time and part-time employment opportunities. Please visit our website - some of the local businesses participating will be listed. Save the date - May 8th during all three Knight Lunches. The time frame is 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
The baseball and softball teams made the playoffs. Please visit facebook and our school website for our opponents, locations and game times this week. Reminder - No local passes are accepted only NCHSAA passes accepted.
Cheer tryouts will take place at RHS starting Monday, May 6th-Thursday May 9th. It will take place each day from 4:00-6:00 pm. Anyone trying out must have current physical and paperwork on file. Middle school students need to bring copy of physical with them to first day of tryouts. Everyone is welcome to try out whether you have ever cheered or not.
Seniors, if you wish to attend Decision Day on May 15th, you must turn your lime green admission ticket in to Ms. Highsmith by Tuesday May 7th. If you have any questions, see her in Student Services.
Knight Lunch Schedule this week. Make sure that you sign for your 3 after 9 pm each night.
