Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from RHS:

Students are reminded to be to school and class on time each day and to follow the MCS dress code and cell phone policy each day.

Any Juniors or Seniors interested in participating in Mock Interviews or Resume Writing Workshops please sign up through Knight Lunch with Mrs. Christenberry for April 16th or 17th.

FCA will meet on Wednesday April 10th at 7:00 am.  They will meet at Bojangles. All are welcome.

Students are you interested in African American History, the Cold War, or your own Civil Rights? Riverside High School will be offering three new Social Studies electives next school year. Detailed descriptions of these courses are located in the registration handbook. If you want to take one of this classes, write it on the bottom of your yellow registration form. If you are interested in learning more about these new courses, see any Social Studies teacher before you begin course registration.

Senior Fees are $45.00 and can be paid to Mrs. Alvarez each day by 1:15 p.m.. You cannot graduate if you don’t pay your fees.

If you did not pick up your cap and gowns when Jostens was here you can get them from Mrs. Alvarez. You may pick them up before school, during Knight Lunch, or after school. Do not interrupt her class to get your cap and gown.

Seniors, if you have not ordered your cap and gown you need to call Jostens ASAP and order your cap and gown. You have to have a cap and gown in order to participate in graduation.

Help save the Earth! The Art classes at Riverside need YOU to save your bottle caps from soda, water, Powerade and Gatorade and drop them in the bucket in the cafeteria by the left side or give them to Mrs. Butler in Room #206 for an Earth Day project. We will be collecting them from now until April 19 for a large art project.

Ani-nation will meet again on April 11, after school in Mrs. Butler’s room, #206.
