These are the weekly announcements for February 6, 2023:

  • We will be on the Knight Lunch Bell Schedule starting Monday, February 6, 2023.
  • The ACT WorkKeys exam will be February 23, 2023 at the Innovation Campus from 8:00- 1:00 for all 12th grade CTE Concentrators. Please look for the Google Classroom invite for more information.
  • Senior fees are now $90 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses.  
  • Senior cap & gown  portrait sessions will take place on February 10th. There is a session cost of $10 to be paid to Prestige portraits. Sign-up and pay your fee on prestigeportraits.com.  Please read the flier attached in the Senior Google Classroom for more details. 
  • Seniors, there will be a FAFSA night on February 13th from 5:30-8pm in the media center. You must complete your FAFSA before March 1st if you want to be eligible for financial aid to help pay for college. Please bring a parent or legal guardian with you and have their 2021 tax return documents, and social security number. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. James.  
  • This message is for students who will become seniors for 2nd semester or 23-24 seniors.  NC requires a booster dose of the Meningococcal vaccine for all individuals upon entering 12th grade. It is strongly encouraged that you do not wait to get this vaccine. Because of high demand, (every 7th and every 12th grader) the state may run out.  You may not attend school without this vaccine.  Also, many insurance companies do not reimburse for this after you are 18.   Please contact Nurse Spence for more information!!  
  • Prom will take place on April 28, 2023 at Yankee Hall in Greenville, same venue as last year.  Juniors and Seniors were emailed a Google Form with details about ticket prices and Grand March.  Feedback from this form will help determine ticket prices. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday February 8, money should be turned into Mr. Wester.Juniors and Seniors have been sent a Google Form about Grand March and Prom tickets.  Please complete by Tuesday, February 7 at 9:00 am!
  • The Band Pancake Supper will be February 9th from 5-8 pm. There will be all you can eat pancakes and sausage dine in, or get a plate to go in the drive thru. Please see a band student to purchase your $8 ticket today!
  • Baseball workouts are Tuesday-Thursday 3:30 - 5:00.  Any student-athlete wishing to participate in workouts must have an up-to-date physical and all paperwork completed in FinalForms.  Please contact Coach Harmon with any questions.
  • Knight Lunch: Students, please make sure you remember your Knight Lunch log-ins and can log into rhsknighttime.org. Students who were off campus during Knight Lunch for first semester but are now on campus for the new semester may need to create a new password. If you have difficulty creating a password, please see Mr. Delph in room 205.
  • Registration for the next driver education class beginning March 13th-24th from 3:30-6:30 at Riverside High School and South Creek High School will be after school on March 1st and March 2nd from 3:30-4:15. Registration at Riverside will take place in the auditorium lobby. Registration at South Creek will take place in the cafeteria. Students need to register at the school they plan to take the course at. Students must attend school in Martin County to register for this course. Homeschool students are eligible to register for the course as long as they reside in Martin County. Students must be born on or before September 2008 to register for this class.
