WA

These are the weekly announcements for January 30, 2023:

  • We will be on the Regular Bell Schedule this week.
  • Senior fees are now $90 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses.
  • Seniors who would like to purchase an ad to appear in the 22/23 yearbook have until January 31 to turn in money and designs.  Senior ad forms can be picked up from the media center or the stand outside the front office.  If you have already purchased an ad but have not submitted a design please do so as soon as possible.
  • Senior cap & gown  portrait sessions will take place on February 10th. There is a session cost of $10 to be paid to Prestige portraits. Sign-up and pay your fee on prestigeportraits.com.  Please read the flier attached in the Senior Google Classroom for more details.
  • Seniors, there will be a FAFSA night on February 13th from 5:30-8pm in the media center. You must complete your FAFSA before March 1st if you want to be eligible for financial aid to help pay for college. Please bring a parent or legal guardian with you and have their 2021 tax return documents, and social security number. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. James.
  • The Martin County Hunter Safety team has begun practicing this year for the district competition. If you would like to be a part of the team or would like more information please email Mr. Bennett.
  • This message is for students who will become seniors for 2nd semester or 23-24 seniors.  NC requires a booster dose of the Meningococcal vaccine for all individuals upon entering 12th grade. It is strongly encouraged that you do not wait to get this vaccine. Because of high demand, (every 7th and every 12th grader) the state may run out.  You may not attend school without this vaccine.  Also, many insurance companies do not reimburse for this after you are 18.   Please contact Nurse Spence for more information!!
  • The Band Pancake Supper will be February 9th from 5-8 pm. There will be all you can eat pancakes and sausage dine in, or get a plate to go in the drive thru. Please see a band student to purchase your $8 ticket today!
  • Baseball workouts are Tuesday-Thursday 3:30 - 5:00.  Any student-athlete wishing to participate in workouts must have an up-to-date physical and all paperwork completed in FinalForms.  Please contact Coach Harmon with any questions.
  • Knight Lunch: Students, please make sure you remember your Knight Lunch log-ins and can log into rhsknighttime.org. Students who were off campus during Knight Lunch for first semester but are now on campus for the new semester may need to create a new password. If you have difficulty creating a password, please see Mr. Delph in room 205.
