These are the weekly announcements for December 12, 2022:

  • Senior fees are now $85 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses. 
  • Perspective January graduates need to make sure they have paid their senior fees before Christmas break. They also need to make sure they have completed the CPR training located in the senior Google Classroom. Perspective graduates who have not completed these items will not participate in graduation or receive their cap & gown.
  • If you are interested in Joining the Fire Academy Program or would like to learn more information about becoming a Firefighter or EMT, please contact Mr. Smith in guidance ss09169@martincc.edu or sign up for one of his MCC registration Knight Lunches.
  • This is a reminder to seniors that if you need help with applying to college & completing your FAFSA, please see your college adviser, Ms. James or email her to schedule a time to meet. 
  • Friday, December 16 is a 1:00 Early Release Day.
  • Monday, December 19 is a Virtual School Day. Students do not report to campus.  Students return to campus on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
  • Registration for the Saturday Driver Education Classes beginning on January 7th, 21st, 28, February 4th, and February 11th from 8-2 will be on January 4th and January 5th from 3:30-4:15 in the South Creek High School cafeteria. Class will be held at South Creek High School. Students need to be 14.5 years of age to register for this class.Contact amcgill@martin.k12.nc.us with any questions.
  • Book pick up for MCC spring classes will be Wednesday, January 4 at the high school front office.
  • Students with excessive absences have 10 Knight Lunch periods left to make up absences.  It takes 3 Knight Lunch sessions to make up one single absence.  This is not a full day of absences.  Students are encouraged to make up as much time as they can and let teachers know they are attending sessions to earn make up time.
